Then they cry out to the LORD in their trouble, and He brings them out of the their distresses.
He calms the storm, so that its waves are still.
Then they are glad because they are quiet; so He guides them to their desired haven.
Psalm 107:28-30
Last week I faced a very stormy situation in my workplace and was crying to the Lord, why this situation. However I found comfort by reading the word of God and found that storm may be there but after some time it will definitely pass away.
It also enabled me to learn that there is a time to rebuild after the storm, it is time to remove all things which are wasteful and build those which will help to avoid such situations in future.
One of the things to focus is keep daily spending quite time with the Lord in reading and praying.
we need to get encouragement from the life of Daniel as written in Daniel 6: 9-10
" Therefore King Darius signed the written decree.
Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days."
When we know our life's is in the hands of the Lord, then we will have a peace which is beyond understanding of the world and continue to bring our petitions and prayers before the throne of grace to our Lord Jesus Christ.
We have a promise and assurance that the Lord will deliver us from all our troubles! He will never leave us nor forsake us!
